Check out www.darfurscores.org to see your representative's record on Darfur legislation. Then, call 1-800 GENOCIDE for the most current Darfur legislation and talking points. After you learn about the legislation, you'll be connected with your elected official's office. These tools were created by The Genocide Intervention Network, whose mission is to empower individuals and communities with the tools to prevent and stop genocide.

2. Ask the Candidates How They Will Take Action

This presidential campaign season, use The Devil Came on Horseback to let the candidates know you want them to DO SOMETHING about Darfur. You can join activists across the country to make Darfur a campaign issue- learn more at www.askthecandidates.org.
If you are hosting a film screening, you can invite local campaign staff to attend your event and provide information about their candidate’s Darfur platform.

3. Contact the Media
Tell your local media that you want to hear more about Darfur in their regular news reporting. See www.standnow.org for a template letter to the editor and other media kit tools.
